Event Details

Be sure to mark Wednesday, January 5th on your calendar, the Illinois Policy Institute is planning a legislator outreach Capitol Day in Springfield.

A number of highly important issues including the proposal to hike income taxes, a landmark voucher bill, and pension reform are anticipated to be voted on early in the new legislative session. Talking to your legislators in person and making your voice heard is one of the most effective ways to help turn around the State of Illinois between elections.

We will meet in the Capitol Building at 11AM for a short informational rally and facilitating meetings with legislators for the rest of the day.

RSVP online and the Illinois Policy Institute will:
